I was honored to be a mentor in the 4th annual Entrepreneur’s Organization Mentor Rally yesterday! The Rally is an event where experienced entrepreneurs mentor new entrepreneurs in a round-robin format. We provide relevant experience, advice, and networking to people trying to get their businesses started. I was really impressed with the creativity and excitement that the new entrepreneurs displayed!
Earlier yesterday I was a judge in the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards held at the St Thomas University School for Entrepreneurship. The competition is for university students who are running a business while in school! These students are driven and clearly have an exciting future as entrepreneurs and leaders! Again, I was honored to be a judge in the competition and send an innovative student to the National competition!
It was an exciting day that affirmed my decision to become a business owner 15 years ago. It is such an honor to live in a town rich with entrepreneurial energy and opportunities for experienced business owners to give back to the community!
