Inclusive Playgrounds in MN

As summer 2021 kicks into high gear, many are looking forward to getting back to playgrounds and parks. Here are a few of the many inclusive playgrounds in the Twin Cities, open to families of all ages and abilities. Many of these playgrounds were designed with the assistance of Flagship Recreation, who specialize in inclusive parks and play structures.

Madison’s Place Playground in Woodbury offers ramps, shaded areas, and many other inclusive options. The playground is named for Madison Claire Millington, whose story is available at the Madison Claire Foundation website

Lake Josephine Park in Roseville offers a gorgeous lakeside view and fun for the whole family. With an adaptable swing, a full playground, and a beautiful beach, the park has something for everyone! 

Goodrich Park in St. Paul offers a variety of options for kids ages 2-12. From swinging to spinning to puzzles, kids of all abilities and ages can find something fun here!
